Klement Slavicky

Czech composer (September 22, 1910, Tovačov, Czechia – September 4, 1999, Prague, Czechia) of modern classical music. He also worked as a music director and conductor. Author of choral, orchestral and chamber music compositions. His works, often influenced by genuine folk music, are characterised by energic, dramatic expression and accomplished instrumental technique.
